Arsenal are eyeing Reading goalkeeper Alex McCarthy.
The People says McCarthy, 24, has impressed for the Royals, keeping Adam Federici out of the side, and Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger sees him as back-up to Wojciech Szczesny.
Wenger allowed Vito Mannone to join Sunderland in the summer and German side Schalke are eyeing Lukasz Fabianski.
