Arsenal are launching a bid for Leicester City midfielder Youri Tielemans.

The Belgium international is inside the final year of his Foxes contract and keen on a move to the Foxes.

The Sun says Arsenal are confident of sealing a £30m deal for the 25-year-old despite rival interest from Manchester United and Newcastle.

Tielemans, for his part, favours joining the Gunners.

The midfielder is viewed by Arsenal as an alternative to Wolves midfielder Ruben Neves.

With only one year left on his contract, Leicester have reluctantly accepted they will have to cash in now rather than risk losing him as a free agent next summer.
