Arsenal are chasing Fiorentina attacker Stevan Jovetic. The Daily Mail says Arsenal are pressing ahead with plans to sign £20million-rated Montenegro international Jovetic.

With Maraoune Chamakh destined for the Emirates Stadium exit door and Chu-young Park still coming to terms with English football, Arsene Wenger knows he needs someone to share the goalscoring burden with Robin van Persie.

And Jovetic, 21, features high on the list of candidates to add more firepower to Wenger's squad. The Arsenal manager is a huge fan of Jovetic's attacking qualities and dispatched a senior scout to run the rule over the forward during Fiorentina's 2-2 draw with Catania last Saturday.
