Arsenal goalkeeper Wojciech Szczesny insists they do not over-rely on Robin van Persie.
Against Fulham, the captain drew a blank for only the second time in seven games but he has scored ten goals during that period to prompt suggestions that Arsenal are a one-man team. Szczesny thinks that is wide of the mark.
"I don't think we are over-reliant on him," the Polish goalkeeper told arsenal.com.
"We've got some fantastic players in this team and we work as a team. The whole team stuck together when we went 1-0 down against Fulham, we stuck together well.
"I don't think we are a one-man team - we are a great all-round team."
All the same, Szczesny was surprised not to see his captain find the net considering his prolific run of late.
"It feels really weird actually," he said. "People who have him in fantasy football teams must be gutted!
"He almost scored a goal though but his shot was cleared off the line. We're confident he can do the job next week."
