Arsenal join Chelsea, Barcelona in chase for Mexican whizkid Flores

Arsenal are keeping an eye on Mexican wonderkid Marcelo Flores.

The Ipswich attacker is seen by Arsenal head of recruitment Sven Mislintat as one to watch for the future.

The 15-year-old his impressed at youth level and has recently been linked with the likes of Chelsea and Barcelona.

"One of my ambitions is to play professionally in the Premier League," Flores told the East Anglian Daily Times.

"But I would also like to play world-wide, in La Liga."

The player models his game on Lionel Messi.

"Internationally, my favourite is [Lionel] Messi," Flores added.

"Whilst in the Premier League, I like watching Hazard - I try to model my game on them both."

It will be tough for Ipswich to hold onto the talent if big clubs keep circling. Manchester City are also being linked with a move for Flores.
