Arsenal hope to find buyers for fringe EIGHT

Arsenal will aim to offload fringe players after spending £24 million on strikers Lukas Podolski and Olivier Giroud.

The Daily Mail says the club now aim to shift unwanted players, but deals to move Denilson to Sao Paulo, Carlos Vela to Real Sociedad and Sebastien Squillaci to Bastia collapsed last week. They hope to resurrect all three of the proposed transfers.

Arsenal also want to offload Andrey Arshavin, Nicklas Bendtner, Marouane Chamakh, Park Chu-young and Johan Djourou.
