Thierry Henry believes Steven Gerrard will be feeling poorly about his red card in Liverpool's loss to Manchester United on Sunday.
The star midfielder was brought on by manager Brendan Rodgers as a half-time substitute but was on his way to the dressing room after less than a minute of the Reds' eventual 2-1 loss to United at Anfield.
A stomp on Ander Herrera was the reason for Gerrard's early exit and former Arsenal star Henry feels his old counterpart will be saddened by the event.
"Gerrard will be upset," Henry said on Sky Sports.
"He knows he lets the team down, but will it affect everything he's done at Liverpool? I don't think so. He should have done better though."
