Arsenal goalkeeper Runarsson in talks with OH-Leuven

Arsenal goalkeeper Alex Runarsson is in talks to join OH-Leuven today.

Iceland international Runarsson joined Arsenal from French side Dijon at the beginning of last season and has made just six appearances overall.

Runarsson fell down the pecking order and is the Gunners' third-choice shot-stopper behind No 1 Leno and back-up Aaron Ramsdale.

Arsenal brought in Ramsdale from Sheffield United in an £30million deal 11 days ago to provide competition for Leno.

Now Runarsson is close to joining Belgian side Oud-Heverlee Leuven on loan, says the Daily Mail. OH-Leuven share the same owners as Leicester City.
