Arsenal defender Carl Jenkinson has been given the all-clear to play for England.

The Daily Mail says England have submitted the paperwork to transfer Jenkinson's international allegiance from Finland, in the hope he can play in next month's friendly against Sweden.

The Arsenal defender has a Finnish mother and played for Finland Under 21s but trained with Roy Hodgson's squad ahead of the World Cup qualifier in Poland earlier this month and told the England boss he was ready to make the switch.
