Arsenal are watching Newcastle United goalkeeper Freddie Woodman.

The Evening Chronicle says the young goalkeeper was denied the chance to go out on loan because of a contract wrangle.

Woodman has just one year left to run and United risk losing him to other Premier League rivals with Arsenal and Everton keeping tabs on the Croydon-born stopper.

Soon to be relegated Fulham have also checked out Woodman this season along with Scottish giants Celtic.
