Arsenal are following FC Twente defender Douglas.
The 20 year-old Brazilian was watched by Gunners chief scout Steve Rowley last week against SC Heerenveen.
Arsenal's Holland-based scout Peter Clarke has been a regular at Twente games this season to check on Douglas and winger Eljero Elia.
