Arsenal are facing competition from Bayern Munich for Real Madrid midfielder Sami Khedira. The London Evening Standard says Arsenal look set to miss out on Khedira after Bayern Munich expressed an interest in the Germany international.
Khedira has been linked with a move to Emirates Stadium but Spanish football newspaper Marca today reported that the German giants are poised to make a move.
The 27-year-old, who won the World Cup with Germany in Brazil, joined Real from Stuttgart in 2010. He was injured for most of last season but recovered to play a crucial role for club and country.
