Arsenal are determined to win the race for Ajax defender Jan Vertonghen.
The People says Gunners boss Arsene Wenger is set to swoop for £15m-rated Ajax skipper Vertonghen, who plays alongside current Emirates favourite Thomas Vermaelen for Belgium.
Newcastle United and Tottenham are also being linked with Vertonghen.
