Arsenal defender Per Mertesacker feels the restrictions of the media leads to greater speculation in England.

Mertesacker has rubbished reports he wants to return to Germany.

He said: "Certain things are just different in England. It is not just driving on the left. The public is excluded from training there. This leads precisely to the fact that not only is there a lot of speculation in the media, but also among journalists."
