Arsenal defender Koscielny: I have had a similar career to...

Arsenal star Laurent Koscielny has drawn parallels between his and Kolo Toure's careers.

Toure was one of the crucial members of the Arsenal Invincible side that went unbeaten for a whopping 38 Premier League matches back in 2003/04 and the Ivorian is now set to make a return to North London to take part in the Arsenal vs AC Milan legends match on Saturday.

Current Arsenal star Koscielny is a big fan of Celtic's Toure and the French international has now gone on to state that he has had a career trajectory similar to the one enjoyed by the 35-year-old.

"The Invincibles were amazing for Arsenal," he told Arsenal Player.

"They had an amazing season and there are a lot of French, like Thierry Henry, Robert Pires, Patrick Vieira and some good centre backs like Kolo Toure in there.

"I have the same career like him. He came here, nobody knew him and he became a very good centre back for the Arsenal and he had an amazing career in England.

"He is strong, he likes duels, aerial duels or on the floor, one against ones and he did a very good job for Arsenal."
