Arsenal have made contact with Toronto FC striker Jermain Defoe today.Arsenal have been sounded out about the possibility of signing Defoe on loan, says the Mirror.
Defoe, 32, is set to quit Toronto just six months into a four year contract at the MLS, is back in London and is available.
QPR is his most likely destination with Toronto likely to loan him and then will demand £7m for a permanent transfer.
But Arsenal have been contacted to see if there is interest in the Spurs legend.
