Arsenal are confident Robin van Persie will sign a new deal.
The Daily Star Sunday says they are confident that they can keep their inspirational skipper Van Persie, who will pick up the writers' Footballer of the Year trophy on Thursday night.
The one worry would be an offer of around £40million before a new contract was signed by the Dutch ace.
