Arsenal are set to make a play for Real Madrid striker Klaas-Jan Huntelaar and will strive to outbid rivals Tottenham for his services.
The Dutchman has turned down an offer from German club Stuttgart and it seems certain he will end up in the Premier League.
The Gunners are believed to be prepared to make a better offer than Spurs recent bid of £16.5million.
