Arsenal reserves coach Neil Banfield is delighted five of the club's starlets have signed pro forms.
James Dunne, Rene Steer, Abu Ogogo, Gavin Hoyte and Kieran Gibbs all signed professional contracts last week.
Banfield told arsenalfc.com: "They deserved it. They have worked extremely hard. Steve Bould and I have been working with them a while now and its really pleasing when they get offered their professional contracts. I believe they have got the remainder of this season and next season so they've got a year and a half in which time they will further learn the game and maybe then start forging their own careers after that."
