Arsenal chief Gazidis: Money available for Wenger to spend
Arsenal chief Ivan Gazidis says there is money available for manager Arsene Wenger to buy.
Gazidis argues Wenger must buy to enhance the squad, rather than to replace departing or retiring players.
"We do have money we can spend," Gazidis told Sky Sports News.
"The challenge for us is a little bit different than some of the other clubs, we don't have positions where players are coming to the end of their careers and positions where there are holes.
"We have to find players who can improve on some of the positions that we currently have and add some depth.
"We want to be winners. We want to be trophy winners.
"There's a relentless focus on doing things we need to do to achieve that, but we also have to do them within the bounds of a sensible football club."

Asernal fc have lost so many fans due to display of too many young players on the field, england football is for real men who can hold on the ball and witstand pressure and also understand the england tribal football inorder to understand the rule of the game....therefore i apeal to coach and the board of arsenal fc to go for men(big name) not boys'we the fans need trophy this season.
gladis pls its hi time we stop thinking of the furture alone we ought to lay a grip the point still remains do we ve a team that can bet the likes of man u barca, madrid or even totteham so lay a grip not signing future players for how long? we the fans looked so disappointed in the way things went wrong last year & still now the defense isn't yet fix were the hell is cahil samba, enrique, benzima chambaline
Chief Gazidi don't talk of availability of money and theoretical development alone but invite wenger and let him see the type of team you want , winners !!!. Sir,review each department- defenders,mid-fielders, attackers and strikers to standard of our dream team, then, we will believe that there is money . Thanks
