Arsenal chief Edu considers whether to make move for Celta Vigo whiz Veiga

Arsenal chief Edu is considering whether to make a move for Celta Vigo whiz Gabri Veiga.

The Gunners are looking set to bolster their options in attack.

Celta Vigo star Veiga has emerged on the radar of Arsenal, reports AS, along with two other Premier League clubs in Manchester United and Newcastle. The 20-year-old has scored eight goals and grabbed three assists in 20 La Liga appearances this season.

Veiga has a £35.3million release clause and his performances have alerted many clubs, with Arsenal, United and the Magpies all sending scouts to watch his performances.

Edu getting Arsenal's transfer decisions correct has been key to manager Mikel Arteta's project at Emirates Stadium and while signing Veiga could be a risk given his inexperience it will certainly be a decision considered meticulously in north London to determine if it is a correct one, reports Football.London.
