Arsenal are chasing Birmingham City prospect Koby Arthur.
The Mirror says Arthur is a 17-year-old striker that Blues boss Lee Clark is desperate to tie down to his first pro deal - and could fast-track into the senior squad for Friday's Championship game at Crystal Palace.
As well as the Gunners, their London rivals Chelsea and Premier League champions Manchester City are also keen on the wonderkid, who only arrived in Britain from Ghana 12 months ago,
The club are currently in talks with Arthur's advisors, Tony Appiah and Saif Rubie.
Rubie, responsible for bringing Chelsea striker Demba Ba to England two years ago, confirmed: "Koby is an amazing young talent.
"We are looking to do the best thing for his progress and they are looking to secure him to a professional deal."
