Arsenal chairman Peter Hill-Wood says manager Arsene Wenger will get every penny from Cesc Fabregas' transfer - if the move to Barcelona actually happens.

Hill-Wood insists boss Wenger has the final say on Fabregas' request to leave.

But he promises if Wenger does decide to cash in on his captain, he will be handed the entire fee to sign a world-class replacement.

Hill-Wood said: "Our transfer policy is to give the manager a budget which includes the ability to use all the money from player sales.

"Fabregas might stay, he might go. I have no idea."

Arsenal will hold out for at least £45million from the Catalan giants before allowing Fabregas to return to the club where he started his career.
