Arsenal are eyeing Newcastle United goalkeeper Freddie Woodman.
The Evening Chronicle says the Gunners are looking for a young, up-and-coming stopper to challenge Bernd Leno for the long-term.
And there is solid interest from the Gunners as well as Scottish champions Celtic in Woodman.
Woodman has been involved in Newcastle United's pre-season and has made two appearances so far.
The England U21 international is eager to head out on loan in order to pick up vital first team experience.
But his contract is up at the end of the season, meaning Newcastle could seek to cash in now.
