Lorient pair Kevin Gameiro and Morgan Amalfitano are interesting Arsenal.
The Daily Mail says Arsene Wenger is primed to make a double swoop on French Ligue 1 side Lorient.
The Arsenal boss has identified the two players as he begins the task of putting together a side which can end the club's six-year trophyless spell.
Gameiro has been prolific in front of goal this season and has been watched by a number of Premier League clubs, including north London rivals Tottenham, Sunderland and Newcastle.
His midfield team-mate Amalfitano has been tracked by a series of Europe's elite and is available on a free transfer at the end of this season, while Gameiro would cost his potential suitors a fee in the region of £15million.
