Arsenal midfielder Andrey Arshavin could be on his way this week.

The Daily Mail says mega-rich Anzhi Makhachkala will make one last effort to land Andrey Arshavin before Friday's Russian transfer deadline.

Anzhi, who are managed by Guus Hiddink, failed in an attempt to sign Arshavin on January 31.

But manager Arsene Wenger is open to selling the Russian international this week, though it is understood the forward would prefer to make a decision on his future in the summer.
