Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger has intimated a spate of injuries won't stop them offloading Lassana Diarra this month.

The sudden flurry of injuries was expected to impact upon Diarra's hopes of leaving the club - managerless Newcastle, Manchester City and Tottenham have all expressed an interest in the unsettled Frenchman.

Last night, Wenger insisted no bids had been accepted for the player even if there remained "a possibility" that he might still leave.
