Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger has been impressed by Paul Lambert's work at Norwich City this season.
The Canaries sit ninth after 11 matches and Wenger has praised Lambert for the astute methods employed throughout his two-year Norwich tenure.
"The right way to approach it is to get the right formula and I think he has done that," Wenger told Arsenal Player.
"They bought Anthony Pilkington who we saw had a good impact against us last season in the FA Cup, and players like Elliott Bennett who we have seen are Premier League quality.
"These are shrewd buys and a factor of the development of their success."
