Arsenal boss Wenger in furious Comolli row

Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger has had a bitter bust-up with Tottenham sports chief Damien Comolli.

The Sun says Wenger and Comolli have fallen out because of a dispute over their wide range of worldwide contacts.

And the feud adds extra spice to today's North London derby.

Comolli worked for Wenger at Monaco, Japanese side Grampus Eight and Arsenal before joining Spurs in 2005.

Wenger introduced Comolli to many of the contacts he still uses now but he believes Comolli has been trying to get them to work exclusively for Spurs.

That has infuriated Wenger and he has personally raised the issue with Comolli. A shaken Comolli apparently tried to calm Wenger but to no avail.

Comolli signed up French aces Younes Kaboul, Didier Zokora and Abel Taarabt recently.
