Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger is hoping to be paired with one particular team in tonight's Champions League draw.

Wenger is desperate to avoid the big guns after being paired with Bayern Munich twice and Barcelona in three of the last four last-16 draws.

But landing Monaco will see Wenger face the club he managed for seven years and led to the 1994 Champions League semi-finals.

"We had many Champions League games there as well.

"When I arrived there, they had never passed the first round in the European Cup so we have good memories.

"It is a fantastic place. That would be good."
