Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger is delighted with the early impression of Mathieu Debuchy.
Wenger believes Debuchy is the "ideal replacement" for Bacary Sagna's as Arsenal's first-choice right-back.
"In Mathieu Debuchy we have found an ideal replacement for Bacary Sagna," said Wenger. "Debuchy was the obvious replacement and we are very pleased he had joined us.
"He's a player who has experience, having played in the Premier League and he's good going forward too. He's very quick in transition."
