Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger is considering a recall for Lucas Perez.

The Mirror says Arsenal have a lot of strikers in the squad — Danny Welbeck has also struggled to get starts, even with Olivier Giroud out injured — but Wenger will not want to leave himself short with so many games coming up.

Manchester City want Alexis Sanchez on a free transfer and while Paris Saint-Germain should not be discounted, the Chile star is likely to wait until the end of the season — when the financial package for him will be greater.

Should Alexis leave, one possibility which has not been discounted is the return of forward Lucas Perez, who is on loan at Deportivo La Coruna.

Wenger still likes him and has not closed the door on him as an Arsenal player.
