Arsenal are moving for Barcelona striker Bojan Krkic. The Daily Star says with Dutch ace Robin van Persie missing for the next five months with an ankle injury, Gunners boss Arsene Wenger has confirmed he wants a new striker in January.
But having conceded big-money swoops for Inter's Mario Balotelli, Wolfsburg's Edin Dzeko, Bordeaux's Marouane Chamakh and Toulouse's Andre-Pierre Gignac are unlikely to materialise, Wenger has turned his attention to Nou Camp outcast Krkic.
Krkic, 19, is desperate to quit Barcelona after dropping down the pecking order following the arrival of Swedish hitman Zlatan Ibrahimovic.
And the Serbian-born Spanish ace, who played a big part in Barcelona's Champions League success last season, would jump at a switch to The Emirates.
