Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger has assured new signing Danny Welbeck he will get a chance in the central striker's position.
The Telegraph says former Manchester United forward Welbeck will train with his new Arsenal teammates for the first time later today.
The £16million man comes in in good form after netting twice in England's potentially crucial qualifying win over Switzerland on Monday.
Wenger has already spoken to Welbeck at length over the phone and confirmed he will get the chance to prove himself as a central striker in Olivier Giroud's continued absence.
