Arsenal boss Mikel Arteta admits he's speaking with Gabriel Martinelli about a looming Brazil U23 call.

His performances have led to international recognition, making his breakthrough in the Brazil U23 side that will target Olympic glory at Tokyo 2020 in the summer.

And he has now been called-up for the CONMEBOL Pre-Olympic qualifying tournament which will take place in Colombia.

It leaves Arsenal facing a spell of fixtures without Martinelli - if Arteta decides to let him go.

He said, "It is something we are discussing in the club at the moment and with Gabi as well. When we know something, we will let you know."
