Arsenal's move for Southampton midfielder Morgan Schneiderlin has reportedly hit a snag.

According to reports, the Daily Mail suggests that the Gunners are not interested in paying £25million for the Frenchman.

Arsene Wenger is believed to be a big admirer of Schneiderlin and was set to make a summer move for his services but the fee the Saints are commanding has put him off.

Arsenal are still looking for a quality holding midfielder to challenge Francis Coquelin for a starting place but do not want to spend massive overs.
