Arsenal attacker Gabriel Martinelli has paid tribute to the club's support staff after his playing comeback last night in the EFL Trophy.

Martinelli is back ahead of schedule from knee surgery.

Following the game, the forward took to social media praising the help he has had through his rehab, while also thanking fans for their support.

He posted: “It was a great feeling to get minutes tonight - huge thanks to the medical and physio teams at Arsenal for their fantastic work and to the fans for the amazing support during my long recovery."
