Arsenal are upset with Real Madrid over delays at accepting a fee for Gonzalo Higuain. The Sun says the Gunners were convinced they would seal a club-record £23million deal for the Argentina striker, 25, this week.
But Real president Florentino Perez last night said: "We don't want Higuain to leave and what's more no one from Arsenal has come to us and made any offers."
Perez's comment has stunned Arsenal, who agreed to meet Real's valuation last week and expected Higuain in London over the weekend for a medical.
