Arsenal winger Theo Walcott is determined to deliver for England on the World Cup stage in South Africa.
He was a shock inclusion in Sven-Goran Eriksson's party for Germany 2006, although he did not make an appearance in the tournament.
Now 21, Walcott is hoping to make an impact this time around and hopes England can deliver for the fans.
"It's all about the big stage. Do it on the big stage which in previous years we haven't done," he told Sky Sports News. "We just need to go one step further for the fans as well. They travel so far and at times get disappointed.
"So I don't care how we play as long as we get results - that's all that matters, everyone just remembers the champions. It's one of the biggest events of your career. You want to be known as playing in a World Cup and potentially winning it as well.
"Just getting the chance to play with them, getting the chance to see Wayne (Rooney) and the way he trains, he always wants to win.
"Same with Stevie (Gerrard) and all the players, but especially Wayne, he's one of those players that you want to be on your team."
