Arsenal ace Ramsey delighted with Wales showing in Belgium draw

Wales captain Aaron Ramsey was thrilled with his side's performance in Tuesday night's 1-1 draw with Belgium.

The Arsenal midfielder scored in the 88th minute in Brussels to cancel out Kevin de Bruyne's 64th minute opener and the overall showing of the Dragons was something that impressed the skipper.

"In the first half I thought we did ever so well. We settled into the game very early and we got the ball down there and kept playing," he told Sky Sports.

"We created chances and maybe we could have had a couple of penalties.

"We came under a lot of pressure tonight and we showed great signs of what we're all about.

"We were playing against a team who have won all their games and we have come away from here with a point tonight."

The draw allowed Wales to finish in fifth position on the Group A World Cup qualifying table behind the likes of group winners Belgium, Croatia, Serbia and Scotland.
