Marko Arnautovic has held talks with Stoke City boss Mark Hughes over his playing situation.

The Austria striker has only made one league start since the end of August.

"It's not going the way I dreamed at the moment," the 25-year-old told The Sentinel.

"I cannot say why the manager isn't picking me. I asked him what I needed to do, but that will remain between me and him. It goes without saying that I hope I get more minutes when I return."
