Kari Arnason admits he would love to stay at Aberdeen but has a lot to consider for the good of his career.
The 29-year old Iceland international comes out of contract in the summer and after rejecting a new offer in January, it appeared his time at Pittodrie Stadium may have been over.
But Arnason, who joined from Plymouth Argyle last summer, has kept the door ajar for a potential stay with the Dons.
"But I am nearly 30 and this could be my last contract so I have to think of a lot of factors.
"The fact I lost so much money at Plymouth came into it as well. I'd love to continue playing until I am 38 but you never know with injuries. So I would hope we can get a mutual agreement.""I would love to stay because Aberdeen is a great city, I love the people and it's a brilliant club," Arnason told Record Sport.
