Atletico Madrid winger Antoine Griezmann was delighted with victory over Eibar.

The Frenchman - who scored his first goal in 822 LaLiga minutes - explained that Diego Simeone's side had returned to their old ways.

"We are playing like Atletico again, defending well and not conceding, while we try to make something out of the few chances we have up front," the 25-year-old said.

As much as he was pleased with the clean sheet and the second half goals, Griezmann did admit that it had been a hard match, especially before the break when the home side missed several chances.

"It was a difficult match at a difficult stadium, but we gave everything," he explained.

"We found it tougher in the first half, before we improved in the second."
