New York City have announced a sponsorship deal with 529 College Savings Program, reports, www.sportspromedia.com/. The fund's operator will become the official college savings partner of the American club.

A 529 College Savings Program writing competition will run through the summer to give young fans the chance to win New York City FC tickets and playing shirts, while a Twitter competition has also been run for tickets to the local derby against New York Red Bulls at Yankee Stadium on 28th June.
