Ghana midfielder Anthony Annan is a target for Portsmouth.
Pompey boss Harry Redknapp's spies watched the young star in action for Norwegian side Stabaek last weekend and inquired about a £700,000 deal in the summer.
Annan starred for the hosts in the recent African Nations Cup and Redknapp could be first in for him.
