Keith Andrews has demanded a transfer from Blackburn Rovers.
The Daily Mail says Andrews handed in a transfer request at Blackburn Rovers on Monday after losing patience with Ipswich Town.
However Ipswich have dragged their heels on making Blackburn an offer despite assurances from manager Paul Jewell that he wanted to re-sign the 31-year-old.
Andrews, therefore, held a meeting with Blackburn manager Steve Kean yesterday, and after being told he was still not part of his plans at Ewood Park, slapped in an official transfer request. The Republic of Ireland midfielder joined the Tractor Boys on a six-month loan deal in August which included an option for the Championship side to buy him permanently.
