Andrea Cossu has revealed he's agreed terms over a new two-year contract with Cagliari.

The midfielder said: "During the Christmas holidays we met and we have reached an understanding, next week we will formalize all with the signatures.

"I personally am very happy because it was my greatest desire (to stay)."
