Former Manchester United defender Viv Anderson is confident young strikers Javier Hernandez and Danny Welbeck will want to work with Robin van Persie.
There have been suggestions that Welbeck - who is negotiating a new five-year deal worth £70,000- a-week - and Mexican striker Hernandez may decide to move elsewhere.
Anderson, however, does not envisage competition for places being a problem at this early stage in either player's career.
The MUTV pundit said: "I disagree that these younger players won't stay around.
"The experience they'll gain from working alongside Van Persie is invaluable."
