Anderson is delighted Michael Carrick has penned new terms with Manchester United.
The Brazilian admits he's learned plenty from his senior teammate.
"Everyone knows Michael is a quality player and so important for the team, and he is someone I learn a lot from," Anderson told manutd.com.
"He is so experienced - he has played in the Premier League for many years and he's always there to help the team and all the players. I'm really happy for him and it [his contract extension] is well deserved."
