Carlo Ancelotti admits to wanting a return to Italy at some stage in his career, but for the moment he is happy to remain with Chelsea. The 51-year-old has been linked with a move to former club Roma after ex-Chelsea boss Claudio Ranieri left the Stadio Olimpico last week.
"I count on staying where I am," Ancelotti told La Repubblica. "I am still Italian, but I appreciate the English, even if at times their press exaggerates things, like in the case of Rino Gattuso.
"I am thinking about the Champions League and fourth place at the minimum in the Premier League. I have drummed it into the team: think about the final at Wembley. I am working a lot."
Ancelotti fully plans to return to Serie A in the future and he has wished caretaker Roma boss Vincenzo Montella all the best in the Italian capital.
"I will return to coach in Italy. But when, I really don't know," added Ancelotti.
"Meanwhile, I send my best wishes to Montella. I think I still have some bonuses to earn in England."
Asked if he would ever be interested in coaching Italy, Ancelotti replied: "They are doing well with Cesare Prandelli.
"After 2014 maybe..."
